IS STARBUCKS®PACKAGING FOR COFFEE IMPROVEMENT RECYCLING?

En Starbucks®Coffee Enhancer packaging is reusable! Simply place the bottle in your trash can after removing the cover.

Alberta Residents: Do not remove cover during recycling. Starbucks®Coffee enhancers can be returned to your local bottle depot for a refund.

WHERE CAN I BUY STARBUCKS®COFFEE IMPROVER?

They can be purchased at your local grocer in the refrigerated dairy section.

WHAT IS STARBUCKS SUSTAINABILITY®COFFEE IMPROVER?

Starbucks®Coffee Enhancers should be used within 14 days of opening or before the expiration date, whichever comes first. Shelf life may vary due to packaging materials and manufacturing locations.

Shake before use. Do not freeze. Keep cool. Store between 33°F and 45°F. For best quality, use within 14 days of opening.

HOW SHOULD I STORE STARBUCKS®COFFEE IMPROVER?

Alle Starbucks®Coffee enhancers should always be stored in the refrigerator, both before and after opening. Store between 33 and 45 degrees F. Starbucks®Coffee enhancers should not be frozen. This can cause separation of the ingredients.

IS THERE COFFEE IN THE PRODUCT?

There is no coffee or caffeine in Starbucks®Coffee enhancers.

En! Starbucks®Non-Dairy Coffee Enhancers are made from a mixture of almond and oat milk.

IS STARBUCKS®COFFEE STRENGTHEN MADE WITH ARTIFICIAL COLORS OR FLAVORS?

Nee, Starbucks®Coffee enhancers are made without artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners.

IS STARBUCKS®GLUTEN-FREE COFFEE IMPROVER?

Nee, Starbucks®Coffee enhancers are not gluten-free.

IS STARBUCKS®KOSHER OR HALAL COFFEE IMPROVEMENTS?

Starbucks®Coffee enhancers are kosher and do not currently have halal certification (the only animal by-products are milk from cows).

K-CUP®POWDERS

IS STARBUCKS®COFFEE K-CUP®PODS can be recycled?

En Starbucks®coffee K cup®Pods are recyclable in certain locations, but may not be recyclable in your region. Contact your local recycling center for current information.

In municipalities that accept them, K-Cup®Pods can be reused in 3 simple steps:

  1. Let the pod cool. Starting at the leak, remove the lid and throw it away.
  2. Compost or throw away coffee grounds. Filter can stay.*
  3. Recycle the empty K-Cup®pods in the trash.


Some municipalities need additional measures. Please check locally to see if specific instructions may apply in your region.

*When reusing the K-Cup®pods with hot chocolate or specialty drinks, step 2 is not required.

HOW CAN I DESCALE MY KEURIG MACHINE?

In general, we recommend descaling your brewer every 3 months. Customers with a higher mineral content may consider descaling more often. If the brewers are not descaled, limescale can build up inside, causing the brewer to no longer function properly.

We do not recommend the use of spring water, distilled or softened water. Good quality drinking water is required for a tasty drink.

I HAVE CARROTS IN MY CUP, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Follow these simple troubleshooting steps:

  1. Unplug the coffee maker from the socket and clean the inlet and outlet needles, making sure the needles are sharp!A link to a video tutorial can be found here
  2. Perform 3 cleansing brews with an 8 oz cup until the water is clear and free of ground coffee
  3. Brew with a Starbucks®kaffe Keurig pod
  4. Is there still soil in the cup? Contact Keurig directly at 1-866-901-2739

THERE IS NO FLOW/NO USE OR NOT BREWING A FULL CUP, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Follow these troubleshooting steps:

  1. If you use a My K-Cup®Reusable filter, troubleshooting without using accessories (use a pod while brewing).
  2. If you are using pods, check the bottom of the used pods for needle puncture. If there is a leak hole, continue with the steps below. If this is not the case, you will need to purchase a new pad holder. Contact Keurig Canada Consumer Care 1-800-361-5628 to order a part.
  3. Unplug the coffee maker and clean the inlet and outlet needles. Please note, the needles are sharp!Hair instructional video.
  4. Perform 3 cleansing brews with an 8 oz cup until the water is clear and free of ground coffee.
  5. Brew with a Keurig pod.
  6. If troubleshooting fails, please contact Keurig Support Canada 1-866-901-2739

IS K-CUP®Pods phthalate and BPA free?

Our specifications require that our pods are made from plastic that does not contain BPA or phthalates.

IS K-CUP®Peulen KOSHER?

En Starbucks®coffee K cup®pods are certified Kosher.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NESPRESSO®ORIGINAL LINE AND NESPRESSO®VERTUO-MACHINES?

The Original Line machines feature high-pressure pump extraction technology, offer cup sizes up to 110ml and are an open system for third-party capsules. Vertuo machines use centrifugal extraction technology, offer a wider range of cup sizes up to 414ml and are a patented closed system where Starbucks®is the only compatible brand.

WILL STARBUCKS®DOOR NESPRESSO®CAPSULES WORK IN ALL NESPRESSO®MACHINES?

Starbucks®from Nespresso®for Vertuo capsules are compatible with all Nespresso®Vertuo-machines. Starbucks®for Nespresso®Original capsules are compatible with all Nespresso capsules®Original Line machines.
