Controlling the User Interface / Cross Hotbar

Extensive Hold controls
When activated, holding both LT and RT (L2 and R2 on PS5™/PS4™, LT and RT on Xbox Series X|S) will temporarily switch to a different cross-hotbar set. Releasing the buttons immediately returns you to your original set, making this a quick and easy way to access a secondary cross-hotbar.
This option can be activated in four simple steps, as explained below.
Open the character configuration menu
Select System from the main menu and open the Character Configuration menu.
Enable extended hold control
Under Custom on the Hotbar Settings tab, select the Enable extended controls with LT+RT checkbox (L2+R2 on PS5™/PS4™, LT+RT on Xbox Series X|S).
The double cross hotbar can also be activated in this menu.
Set up extended hold controls
When you enable this option, you can set which crossed hotbars appear when you hold down LT and RT (L2 and R2 on PlayStation®4). It's also worth noting that the hotbars that appear depend on the order in which these buttons are pressed. The available options are as follows:
Windows®:
Show with: LT → RT (press and hold LT then RT)
Show with: RT → LT (Hold RT then LT)
PS5™/PS4™
Show with: L2 → R2 (Hold L2 then R2)
Show with: R2 → L2 (Hold R2 then L2)
Xbox-:
Show with: LT → RT (press and hold LT then RT)
Show with: RT → LT (Hold RT then LT)
Use actions
Once you've set the extended hold controls to your satisfaction, try holding down the trigger buttons and check to see if the correct cross hotbars appear.
