You can restore content, settings, and apps from backup to a new or recently deleted iPhone.
Important:You need to backup your iPhone first. To seeBack up iPhone.
Restore iPhone from iCloud backup
Turn on a new or recently erased iPhone.
Do one of the following:
Tap Set Up Manually, tap Restore from iCloud Backup, and then follow the onscreen instructions.
If you have another iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch running iOS11, iPadOS13, or later, you can use Quick Launch to automatically set up your new device. Place the two devices close together and follow the onscreen instructions to safely copy many of your settings, preferences, and iCloud Keychain. You can then restore the rest of your data and content from your iCloud backup to your new device.
Or, if both devices have iOS12.4, iPadOS13 or later, you can transfer all your data from your previous device to your new one wirelessly. Keep your devices close together and connected to power until the migration process is complete.
You will be asked for your AppleID. If you have forgotten your AppleID, you can see itRestore your AppleID website.
Restore iPhone from computer backup
Use USBConnect a new or recently wiped iPhone to the computer where your backup is located.
Do one of the following:
On a Mac (macOS 10.15 or later):Select your iPhone in the Finder sidebar, click Trust, then click Restore from This Backup.
On a Mac (macOS 10.14 or earlier) or a Windows PC:Open the iTunes app, click the button that resembles an iPhone at the top left of the iTunes window, click Summary, and then click Restore Backup.
Remark:Use the latest version of iTunes. See the Apple Support articleUpdate to the latest version of iTunes.
Select your backup from the list and then click Continue.
