I touched exhaustion while I was mining and had 3-4 hours left in the day.

At the start of the game more useful if you are bad at managing your energy/health and have no space in your backpack for snacks to fill.

The oven events were absolutely with pickaxe, because that is what I recently was in mines as standard.

For now I try to remember to pause and adjust the inventory if necessary, so I have chosen an empty slot (if possible) when I communicate with these devices.
