Specifically, Apple's battery replacement prices apply to all iPhones with defective batteries, regardless of whether they are under warranty or not.

A warranty only covers the cost of a defective battery that needs to be replaced. On the other hand, Apple Care+ customers can get a free replacement if the battery capacity drops below 80 percent.

There are two options available to most people looking for an iPhone battery replacement: through an Apple Authorized Service Provider (including Apple itself and its authorized partners), or through a third-party repair service. Timpson

You may associate Timpson with watch repairs and key cutting, but you can also pay in-store to replace your iPhone's battery. Prices range from £20 to £60 for the iPhone 6-12 range, depending on the model. Similar to iSmash, you can ship your device or take it to your nearest Timpson store. However, the company does not claim to be an Apple-approved repairer.

OfsmartphoneA Curry's retailer is offering iPhone battery replacement, but does not list a list price. In general, out-of-warranty phone repairs cost between $30 and $170. Carphone Warehouse, a certified service provider, says all iPhones are returned to Apple for repair, suggesting you'll be charged the same amount as you would at an Apple Store. You can take your phone to one of Carphone Warehouse's 1,100 UK stores for a quote and repair.
