Deleted emails are moved to the trash. When you delete an email, it will be kept in your trash for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted. When you delete an email from iCloud.com, it will be deleted on all your devices that have that email on itMail is enabled in the iCloud settings.
You can also change where your deleted emails are stored.
Important:If you view iCloud Mail in another app (for example, the Mail app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch), your email may be deleted sooner than 30 days, depending on the app's settings.
Delete emails
In Mail on iCloud.com:to electthe email(s) you want to delete.

Do one of the following:
If you selected one email address:Click
top right.
If you have selected multiple email addresses:Click on Trash.
When you see itor Archive, you have selected "Show archive icon on toolbar" in Mail settings. To seeArchiveer e-mail in Mail op iCloud.com. To delete one or more emails, do one of the following:
If you selected one email address:Click
at the top right and then click Trash.
If you have selected multiple email addresses:Click Move, click Trash, and then click Move.
empty the trash
You can delete all emails in the trash at the same time.
Important:When you empty the trash, emails are permanently deleted. You can't fix them.
In Mail, click iCloud.com
on top ofList of mailboxes.
Select Empty Trash and click Empty Trash again.
Delete emails immediately and permanently
You can set iCloud Mail to permanently and immediately delete emails when you delete them, instead of moving them to the Trash.
In Mail, click iCloud.com
on top ofList of mailboxesand then select Settings.
Click Mailbox Behavior, then turn off "Move Deleted Messages To."
Change the location of deleted emails
By default, emails in iCloud Mail are moved to the Trash when you delete them. You can change the folder they are moved to.
In Mail, click iCloud.com
on top ofList of mailboxesand then select Settings.
Click Mailbox Behavior, select 'Move deleted messages to', click the current folder, select a different folder, or click
to create a new folder and then click Done.
