Create a new Apple ID - Apple Support (2024)

Your Apple ID gives you access to all Apple devices and services, including iCloud, the App Store, and more.

Not sure if you have an Apple ID or have forgotten what it is? You may be able to sign in on your device or on the web using an email address or phone number that you use for Apple services.

Once you're signed in to your device, you can find and add additional email addresses and phone numbers that you can use to sign in to your Apple ID. Open Settings (or System Settings), select your name and then select Sign-in & security to see these options.

You can create a new Apple ID while setting up your device, or set it up later in the App Store.

Create your Apple ID when you set up your device

1. Tap 'Forgot your password or don't have an Apple ID?'

2. Tap Create a Free Apple ID.

   

3. Select your date of birth and enter your name. Press Next.

4. Tap Use Your Current Email Address or tap Get a Free iCloud Email Address.

5. Follow the onscreen steps to verify your email address, create a strong password, set your device's region, and set up two-factor authentication. If you choose to skip this step, you will be prompted to do so later in Settings.

Create your Apple ID via the App Store on your device

1. Open the App Store and tap the My Account button.

2. Tap Create New Apple ID. If you don't see this option, make sure you dosigned out of iCloud.

   

3. Follow the onscreen steps to enter an email address, create a strong password, and set your device's region. The email address you provide will become your new Apple ID.*

4. Enter your payment method and billing information, then tap Next. You can also select None. You will not be charged until you make a purchase.

5. Verify your phone number. This can help verify your identity and recover your account if necessary. Press Next.

6. Check your email for a confirmation email from Apple and verify your email address.

After you verify your email address, you can use your Apple ID to log in to the App Store and other Apple services such as iCloud.

Create your Apple ID on Mac

1. Choose Apple menu  > System Preferences. In earlier versions of macOS, choose Apple menu  > System Preferences.

2. Click Sign in with your Apple ID in the sidebar. In earlier versions of macOS, click Sign In.

3. Click "Create Apple ID" and follow the onscreen steps to enter an email address, create a strong password, and set your device's region. The email address you provide will become your new Apple ID.*

   

4. Enter your payment method and billing information, then click Continue. You can also select None. You will not be charged until you make a purchase.

5. Check your email for a confirmation email from Apple and verify your email address.

On your Windows PC, you can create an Apple ID in the Apple TV app, Apple Music app, or iTunes for Windows.

If you see a message asking you to sign in to iTunes

If you created your Apple ID online and see a message asking you to sign in to iTunes, follow the steps below for your device:

• On iPhone or iPad: Open Settings, then tap Sign in to [device]. Thenlog in met uw Apple ID.

• On Mac: Choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, then choose Apple ID andlog in met uw Apple ID.

• On Apple TV: Sign in to the App Store or other Apple services with your Apple ID. You can also open Settings and then tap Users & accounts. Select Add Standard User or Add New User, sign in with your Apple ID, and then follow the prompted steps.

• Op an Android device: Go totv.apple.comofmuziek.apple.comand sign in with your Apple ID.
