According to Statista.com, Belgium will export the most chocolate worldwide from 2021. This should come as no surprise, as some of the most widely distributed chocolate brands are based in Belgium or owned by Belgian companies. A surprise to many would be that countries like Poland or Canada are in the top 5. Not countries that we so often associate with chocolate.
Remember, this is the production of all types of chocolate, and not specifically for the fine bean-to-bar chocolatiers. If we were to look at the production of fine or artisan chocolate, I'm sure the graph would look strikingly different.
