A small request
It all started in the early 1980s when Chick-fil-A customers demanded itChick-fil-A chicken sandwichso much so that they started asking restaurant operators to cut up bite-sized portions to eat by hand or serve at parties. The trend took off, and in 1982 Chick-fil-A introduced the nugget as a six-figure menu item.

A dive-worthy invention
In 1984, it was clear that customers loved nuggets, but they wanted a flavor boost. Then Chick-fil-A introduced honey mustard, barbecue sauce and Polynesian sauces: three modern favorites. It wasn't until 2006 that our most popular sauce, Chick-fil-A Sauce, appeared on the menu.
“Our sauces have a loyal following. Customers love mixing their own sauces to make their own creations,” Johnson said.
As the demand for precious metals has grown over time, so has the need to share the love of precious metals with those you love.Nugget party containerswas introduced in 1989, and most recently in 2018 a 30-piece nugget option was added for customers to share.

Chick-fil-A Nuggets aren't just for lunch and dinner.Chick-n-Minis(a Chick-fil-A Nugget served on a bun with honey butter spread) was added to the menu pack in 2004 and has since become a popular breakfast item.Grilled nuggetswas added in 2014 to provide a lighter option to the classic egg white.
