Ginger Ale is nowadays for more than just abdominal pain.

It is a complex drink that is sweet, ginger and spicy.

But it is also a great addition to mocktails ... Ginger Ale adds body and kick alcohol -free drinks.Alcoholic options.

But first, let's do something clear ... Ginger Ale is not a ginger beer.

Ginger Beer is brewed and fermented.Ginger Ale is a carbonated drink made of water and ginger.

We chose to taste ginger beer because there iswayToo many options in both genres.

Spots:

We started our taste with the old one with bundle Schweppes - which dates from 1783.

A man named Jacob Schweppes found a way to produce carbonated mineral water more than 200 years ago.

The brand took a break during the Second World War when England could not produce the drink.

The Schweppesmark is so famous that it is evenA book about that.

But how does it taste ???

Lief.

Schweppes is very light in color and very carbonated.

Schweppes misses the singing that we like in a ginger beer.

Canada dry:

Canada Dry was founded in 1904, making it a young person compared to the honorable Schweppes.

Although it is Ginger Ale, Canada Dry does not actually contain ginger ... much to ame for a woman named Julie Fletcher.

Fletcher sued Canada Dry in 2018 because she didn't think there was ginger in the product.

The company claims that the ginger uses to make its "natural taste", which is stated on the package.The company decided the ridiculous trial period for $ 11.2 million.

Canada Dry has a similar color and carbonation such as schweppes.

And you get a light pineapple/lemon flavor.

Fever Tree is a premium tire marking that was launched in the UK in 2003.

It started with tonic water.

But we are here for Ginger Ale.

Fever tree ginger beer is not as carbonated as the rest.

The drink contains relatively little sugar (7.1 grams for a bottle of 6.8 oz).And it waves a little with your tongue when you release for the first time (it also waves the nose).

February has more taste than the previous two.

Boylan:

Boylan is one of and is for the traditional soft drink.

Reed's:

This is the first ginger beer to cough us when we went on a sip ... Finally a good herbs!

The taste is very tropical.You get a lot of citrus and pineapple.

This is the first ginger beer to give us the feeling that we are actually drinkingGingerAle.And it tastes like you are drinking something else - a real, premium drink.

Q Mixers:

Q is a Brooklyn -based manufacturer of Premium Mixers.

And the company takes its ginger beer seriously."

We want to add, it's hot!

This made us sneeze when we went on a sip (again, we consider this a good thing!).

Q's ginger beer is almost ready in color.It is not as sweet as most other drinks.

There is a lot of herbs and it is on your tongue for a while after taking a sip.

This is the first ginger beer that makes us want to sit down and actually enjoy a ginger beer.

Blenheim ginger beer not so hot:

Blenheim Ginger Ale is a cult favorite in the south.

It is said to be one of the first soft drinks in America (and it is the oldest, continuous independent soft drink in the world).The story comes backTo the discovery of a natural mineral ferry in Blenheim, South Carolina in 1781.

At the end of the 19th century, a doctor advised his patients to drink the spring water because of the high mineral content.

Subsequently, Blenheim Bottling Company was born in 1903.

In 1993, the Schapher family bought the family -owners of the famous south of border tourist complex -which went through in -95, bought Blenheim. Salan Schapher, the Patriarch, kept Van Ginger Ale and bought the companyto save extinction.

He also moved the old production facility from the original location to the south of the border.

Blenheim produces three soft drinks - old #3 hot (red cap), #5 not so hot (gold cap) and #9 diet (white cap).

We first tasted the golden roof.

This ginger beer is citrus -like, sugary, caramelly and spicy (although not the spikstest Blenheim offers).Crawls at you when you drank it and run against your nose.

It is a solid ginger beer.But it is difficult not to notice the consistency of corn syrup.

Blenheim is called:

Try to take your first sip Blenheim hot without coughing.

Krieziness jumps from the glass to you and makes your eyes water if you get too close.

Blenheim Hot has the darkest color (which you can see in the photo).

It is very sweet and very hot.Crawls on your nose and waves the back of your throat on the way down (but it's all good).

You get an outburst of taste at the front, but it does not taste very natural (despite the ingredients that show natural ginger flavor).

But this ginger beer is unique.

Every time we open a bottle of Blenheim, it is like a small ceremony ... followed by a challenge to keep it together while you take your first pair of sips.

And with the heat, Blenheim Hot is a great addition to any alcohol -free co*cktail.

Pro -tip: hold your breath while taking the first sip so that you have no cough/sneezing.

Ginger's Bunkhouse Spicy Ginger Ale:

Zero Proof discovered the bunk beds of the ginger while we put togetherDrink -free guide for Athens, go.

This ginger beer comes from the owner of a long, local bar named Manhattan Cafe.

And Ginger's Bunkhouse is an 11 on the hot scale.

It doesn't have as much taste as Blenheim.It is a bit sweet and artificial tasting (it reminded me of the syrup of a slush puppy machine).

But it certainly yields the heat ... and undoubtedly reaches its task as a mixer with bourbon (or in zero the case, with every mocktail that requires ginger beer).

Ginger's Bunkhouse is fun to try for the extreme heat alone.

AND THE WINNER IS...

Blenheim Hot is Zero Proof's favorite ginger beer.

Full disclosure, we are a fool for these southern drinks strange and stored history.

And although this would not be your go-to-ginger beer if you want the most natural taste, it is the most interesting and fun to drink.
