Today we're going to look at how to use vinaigrette in other types of dishes. There's nothing complicated about this, you can get maximum flavor and texture by simply using your usual vinaigrette mix (homemade or not) as a base for adding other ingredients.
Here are a handful of ideas for using vinaigrette in addition to salads:
- 1.Make a quick salsa by adding chopped or grated fruit or vegetables.
- 2.Use it as snacksof dips: perfect for carrot sticks, crackers, raw cauliflower florets...
- 3.Use vinaigrette as a base to make various dips: add yogurt, cottage cheese or sour cream and whatever spices and herbs you like.
- 4.Towards the end of cooking, drizzle the vinaigrette over roasted, roasted, grilled or steamed meat, fish or vegetables.
- 5.Vinaigrette is the perfect emulsion for marinating fish, poultry or meat before frying, grilling or roasting. After a few minutes of cooking, the remaining marinade can be used as a good sauce to remove raw meat bacteria.
- 6.Brush slices of country bread before grilling or roasting.
- 7.Use it as a seasoning to sprinkle on sandwiches.
