PepsiCo Beverages has announced the North American release of its Gatorade Black Ice sports drink. The Gatorade Black Ice flavor was previously only available in South America, where the drink was a great success. The refreshing sports drink will be available in North America on April 25, 2022, exclusively in Canada. The Gatorade Black Ice sports drink will be sold in 710 ml bottles and will be available in grocery stores nationwide.
PepsiCo describes the taste of Gatorade Black Ice as fresh and refreshing with a bold black color. With the new market for Gatorade Black Ice, the brand is excited to provide athletes with new refreshing, enjoyable flavors with unique colors.
Lourdes Seminario, senior marketing director of hydration at PepsiCo, said: “Not only are we able to fuel and prepare athletes for intense moments in play, but we help rehydrate, replenish and fuel athletes in all phases of the game."
