The standard iPhone 14 models have modest improvements over the iPhone 13, including slightly better performance and cameras. The iPhone 14 Pro models have even more to recommend them, including an always-on display, the new "dynamic island" front camera interface element, and better cameras (including a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera).
As in previous years, the regular iPhone 14 starts at $799 and the Pro model starts at $999. Instead of a cheaper 'mini' variant, Apple has a larger iPhone 14 Plus that starts at $899. The iPhone 14 Pro Max costs $1,099.

The only reason to buy the iPhone 14 today is if youneednow a new phone. As in, your old phone is beyond reason broken and you need it for everyday use.

You only have to wait a few weeks before the iPhone 15 is available. At that point, you can get a superior phone for the same price as the current iPhone 14, or buy an iPhone 14 for a new, lower price.
Macworld recommends: WAIT
It is expected that Apple will eventually announce the iPhone 15 series"Wonderlust" arrangement 12 september. They go on sale at the end of that week and ship a week later. So if you buy an iPhone 14 now, it will be old news in less than three weeks.
Even if you want to buy an iPhone 14, you might want to wait as the price will likely drop once the iPhone 15 becomes available.

If you already own an iPhone 13/14 it's not worth upgrading for iPhone 15 I would urge you to wait for next year, If you own any model below iPhone 12 then yes go for it. If you are switching from Android to IOS then iPhone 15/ 15 plus would be a best option to start at.
