There are two ways to import data from a text file with Excel: you can open it in Excel, or you can import it as an external data interval.Save asCommand and shift the file type of the rollers.

There are two commonly used texts:

  • Separate text files (.txt) where the tab (ASCII Drawing Code 009) usually separates each text field.

  • Comma Separate values ​​Text files (.csv), where the comma sign (,) usually separates each text field.

You can change the separator person that is used in both limited and .csv text files.

Remark:You can import or export or export a maximum of 1,048,576 rows and 16,384 columns.

Import a text file by opening it in Excel

Import a text file by connecting with it

You can import data from a text file into an existing spreadsheet.

  1. Click on the cell where you want to place the data from the text file.

Export data to a text file by storing it

Import a text file by connecting (Power Query)

You can import data from a text file into an existing spreadsheet.

Export data to a text file by storing it
