Import a text file by opening it in Excel

You can open a text file that you have made in another program as an Excel work folderOpenAssignment.A text file in Excel does not change the format of the file - you can view this in the Excel -Titular rule, whereby the name of the file retains the extension of the text file name (for example .txt or .csv).

You can import data from a text file into an existing spreadsheet.

Click on the cell where you want to place the data from the text file.
