Was he sick? Did he blow himself up? Apparently the family is refusing to release any information at this time, saying only, "Respect our privacy." Rumor has it that he disappeared while paragliding and was only found today:https://www.ksl.com/article/46607221...h-of-hurricane I feel like someone with 11 million followers on YouTube alone stopped being a private person a long time ago. And if they give a one-sentence explanation, they will probably have to ask fewer people to respect their privacy. I have no idea what's going to happen with the channel, but we have no idea how much involvement he's had for months. Do I still call Nate his sidekick? |

As embarrassing as my death is, I feel comfortable making it public. I want my gravestone (I don't really want a gravestone or a legal burial) to say, "Here lies redpoint5, invincible!" I just want to make people laugh on an otherwise miserable day. I don't know who Grant Thompson is. Powered paragliding is something I want to do one day when I have more time. __________________ Give me absolute safety or give me death! |

I regularly post complaints about The King of Random['s sidekick]. They post some cool projects, but mainly seem to cater to their octogenarian fans. An old friend disappeared from Facebook and I found her obituary. The only detail they gave about her death was that it was sudden. I created a topic when my ex died and asked for help from someone on Facebook. Her family didn't like me and I tried to find closure. However, she didn't have more than 11 million followers, even though she had 527 Facebook friends, and most of us never found out what happened. |

Otherwise, I probably haven't maintained close contact with them, at which point learning of their deaths comes more as shocking entertainment than gathering with my loved ones for support. I understand the curiosity element, as I am extremely curious about most things. That being said, I value the boundaries of others more than my own curiosity. Something I may not always pick up on quickly. __________________ Give me absolute safety or give me death! |
