Definitions of room type
The following definitions of room type are common in the shelter industry:
Simple: A room assigned to a person.
Double: A room assigned to two people.
Triple: A room assigned to three people.
Quad: A room assigned to four people.
Queen: A room with a queen amount.
King: A room with a king -size bed.
Twin: A room with two single beds.
Double: A room with two double (orper perhaps queen) beds.
Studio: A room with a studio bed-a sofa that can be converted into a bed.
Mini-Suite (Junior Suite): A single room with a bed and sitting area.Sometimes the sleeping space in a bedroom is separated from the living room or living room.
Suite: A living room or living room connected to one or more beds.
Liaison room: Rooms with individual access doors from outside and a connecting door in between can move guests between rooms without walking through the hallway.
Adjacent rooms: Rooms with a normal wall, but no connecting door.
Adjacent rooms: Rooms close together, maybe in the hall.
