The office of the Attorney General of Maryland has issued the following to warn the residents who warn of a text cam with unpaid e-ZPASS road costs.

"Lawyer Anthony G. Brown wrongly warns consumers for scam -texts and claims to represent a toll service that claims that you owe money for unpaid toll.

"Maryland Toll Services: We have noticed an excellent toll amount of $ 12.51 on your file."

Do not pay any money or do not reveal personal information to a person or group who contacts you via an SMS about a toll.
• Do not click on links in the text.
• Submit a complaint with FBI Internet Crime Clake Center (IC3) on www.ic3.gov and make sure you:
