We will address the frequently asked question: what is the difference between chicken tenderloin and brisket. They are both a staple in many cuisines and are interchangeable in most recipes. While there are similarities between the two cuts of chicken, there are also important differences.
Chicken is a versatile protein that is relatively easy to prepare. As long as you know the proper cooking methods for chicken so that it is cooked through and doesn't dry out, there's no reason why you shouldn't add more types of chicken recipes to your meal planning menus.
You've probably noticed that different recipes call for different cuts of chicken, and there's usually a reason for that. Some chicken cuts are leaner than others or just a simpler cut of chicken to retain moisture.

Frequently Asked Questions
Chicken Tenderloin vs. Breast: Is There a Difference Between Chicken Breast and Chicken Tenderloin?
There is a difference between chicken fillet and chicken tenderloin. Not only do they come from a different part of the chicken, but they often have different sizes and shapes.
Chicken tenders are actually muscles (pectorals) located underneath the chicken breast, while chicken breasts are the outer muscle part of the chicken (pectoralis major).
How many chicken tenders are equal to one chicken fillet?
Chicken tenders are a smaller size compared to the size of a chicken breast. Since they are located on the underside of the chest, it is only a smaller area to grow in comparison.
It takes two chicken tenders to be the same size as a whole chicken breast. This is important to remember if you ever need to switch between the two based on an ingredient list.
Can I use chicken fillet instead of tenderloin? Can I use chicken tenders instead of breasts?
You can absolutely mix and match and swap as you please. Keep in mind that when making substitutions you will need to adjust the baking time, marinating time, roasting time, and cooking time.
Because a tender chicken is smaller, it cooks much faster than a large piece of chicken fillet. This applies to cooking on the stove, grill or any other cooking method.
In my opinion, it is easier to make chicken strips or a chicken finger recipe with tenderloin because they are already smaller in size.

What are some ways to change the flavor of a piece of cooked chicken?
Whether you cook white meat or dark meat, chicken generally absorbs the flavors of herbs and spices well. That means you can add thyme, oregano, rosemary, Italian seasoning, or even some cayenne pepper to amp up the heat. Like in this oneItalian Herb Chicken.
Chicken breast meat is very moist and forgiving in recipes, so keep that in mind when cooking as well. Anything you add to chicken, such as lemon juice or soy sauce, will greatly improve its flavor.
It is important to take the size of the tenderloin and the size of the chicken fillet into account when seasoning so that it does not take over and become too strong. If that happens, I recommend mixing in some veggies and making a batter that can swirl and create a delicious meal without an overpowering flavor.
