Chick-Fil-A is under fire for a tweet that users with social media called the race of a Twitter user.

If a direct answer to the tweet, the official Twitter account for Chick-Fil-A answered: "Your community will be the first to know if spicy items are added to the permanent menu, Don!"
Although the first tweet only had six answers, the answer from Chick-Fil-A received more than 1,600 answers and 6,800 quote-tweets because of the choice of formulation used in the message.who wondered whether they have focused the identity of the user, who seems to be black.

In a statement sent today, Chick-Fil-A responded to the claims.
"The answer was a bad choice of words, but was in no way meant to be insensitive or disrespectful," said a spokesperson."We use the term 'society' in a broader sense to talk about places where we run restaurants and serves the surrounding community."
