Haribo is an iconic brand and you can find its sweets all over the world. But are they vegan? We have information here.
A bit of history
Founded in December 1920 in Bonn, Germany, Haribo has since become the most popular gum brand in the world. Naturally, Haribo has a strong presence in the UK, popular with children and adults alike.
Is Haribos vegan?
Unfortunately, most Haribo products are not suitable for vegans; this is due to the presence of gelatin in the production process. However, there's still good news if you're a vegan with a sweet tooth: there are a few Haribo products that are actually suitable for vegans. These are:
- Haribo Your Regenboogspaghetti
- Haribo Sour Rainbow Bars
- Haribo Rainbow Strips Sour
Everything can be found atMy vegan supermarket, so if you're looking for sour sweets, you've definitely come to the right place. If you're craving a soft gummy bear, you're in luck too -Tesco is selling a 1kg Haribo soft gummy bear.
