At McDonald's it is not impossible to eat dairy-free. I recently started going dairy-free when my boyfriend was diagnosed with a milk allergy and I realized how difficult it is to figure out what is dairy-free and what isn't. There are plenty of vegan options available, but it can be trickier for dairy-free meat eaters.
Fortunately, McDonald's dairy-free menu is extensive; it just took some digging on their website to discover the options. The only negative I found during my research is thatthe iconic Mickey D's fries contain dairy products.This is truly devastating, but luckily there are plenty of other things to choose from.
Hamburger
Lovers of the classic Mickey D's burger, rejoice. Even if you are dairy-free, you can still order this basic pill.The bun, beef patty, pickle and onion are all made without dairy.

Big Mac without cheese
Congratulations! You can also order this famous McDonald's dish. Be sure to order two beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, nocheese, pickles and onions on a sesame seed bun.Even the Big Mac sauce is dairy-free.

This delicious chicken sandwich is another great option for those avoiding dairy. Just notice itthe chicken bread is fried in the same deep fryer as the Buttermilk Crispy Chicken, which means there is a chance of cross-contamination, but none of the actual ingredients in the sandwich contain dairy.
McRib
If you're lucky enough to come across a McDonald's that sells this McRib sandwich, you canmake sure it is dairy free.The sandwich can be hard to find because it is only sold periodically, but use itthis viewfinderto try to find one near you.
Baked apple pie
Surprisingly the baked apple piecontains no butter or milk.For non-dairy folks, finding good pastries can be a chore, so this is a real blessing. Vegans can also eat this delicious treat because it also contains no egg. You can just see there? According to Thrillist it isit's the apple powder they mix into the pie that makes these suckers so damn delicious.

The Egg McMuffin is a good option IF you remember to ask for neither butter nor cheese,as the meal is usually served with both parts.In addition to the egg, you can also have Canadian bacon or a sausage patty. Fruit and maple oatmeal without cream
This is one of the healthier menu items you can order at Mickey D's. Happy,the only ingredient that contains dairy is the light cream, which is easy to leave out.

One thing's for sure: you don't have to avoid the golden arches just because you avoid dairy. Some of the biggest hits on the McDonald's menu are actually dairy-free.
