Watch Gordon Ramsay Take Down Errant Restaurant Owners in 'Kitchen Nightmares' (2024)

In Friday night's episode ofKitchen nightmare, screaming chefGordon Ramsay stopped for the first time everin the show's 82-episode history. Amy and Samy Bouzaglo – owners ofAmy's bagefirmain Scottsdale, Arizona – blamed everyone for their problems, including “haters” and “bloggers,” but not themselves. The owners did not tip the service staff (instead pocketing the money) and admitted to firing more than 100 employees. Ramsay said: “After about 100Kitchen nightmare, I met two ownersI couldn't help it, it's because they can't listen."

Update 14/05: Amy's Baking Company went into a complete panic on Facebook, goes after "The Yelpers and Reddits [sic]" and their "WITCH HUNT" and calls them "trash," "pathetic" and "OPRESSORS [sic]."

Update 15/05:Now they areclaiming their Facebook had been hacked.

Two clips: 1. the restaurant ownersswearing and physically threatening guests, and 2. Gordon Ramsay deliversa brutal eliminationby the owners:

First up: a clip from before Ramsay even showed up. While he was shooting b-roll the night before, Samy Bouzaglo was the ownerthreatened a restaurantwho dared to complain about the hour plus wait for a pizza. It got so bad that one of the show's producers had to intervene (this rarely happens).Kitchen nightmare). But look at the Bouzaglos freaking out. They chase the dinner guests outside and shout cheers like 'Damn digging! You piece of sh*t!" and "You little pansy, get out, you're never coming back here again!"

Kitchen nightmaremaybefull of total lies, but apparently that wasn't the case here. ThatNew times actually spoke to the restaurantwho said: “The producers told me they had done thatI've never seen anything like it.” Turns out the police actually came to the restaurant because there was a 911 call.

Later, Ramsay finally shows up and sees a disastrous dish full of screaming and swearing (not by Ramsay). Tons of food are sent back, a waiter is fired. A standard evening at Amy's Baking Company. The next morning, Ramsay sits down with the owners, who want to "clarify a few things." And by “clarify” they meant they were leaving the show. However, no one gives up on Ramsay, and he breaks up with them first. Ramsay quietly delivers a crushing verbal battering:

I cannot help people who cannot help themselves and who can never tolerate an ounce of criticism. If you're not willing to change, I won't argue, argue, shout... but that's not normal. And it is not normal for a restaurant to have so many employees, it is not normal for a kitchen to have such a small 65 dishes on the menu, and it is not normal for the level of hostility that you have built up inside and outside this restaurant . You have the right to run the business the way you want. I have the right to do what is right. And the right thing for me is to get out of here.

And now the setback: If that's any measure, the restaurant did it1 1/2 stars on Yelp. And since the show aired, countless one-star reviews have been written, including charming advice like: “Amy is PSYCHO… you're evil… get help!I see the wild crazy in your eyes."

Even worse than the Yelpers, the Bouzaglostell KSAZthat they have receiveddeath threats. They also claim that “they don't yell at customers” and “it was all sensational.” Amy's Baking Company remains open.
