You can now create a salary saving plan to buy electronic savings bonds in TreasuryDirect

The new wage plan for wage plans enables individual primary accoundation owners to make recurring purchases of electronic series EE and series in savings bonds, funded by a payroll/direct deposit.Employer and your payroll office send an award/direct deposit to your TreasuryDirect account.

Setting up your salary savings plan in TreasuryDirect

Before you ask your employer to start your payroll/direct deposit, you must first create a pay plan on your Treasurycect account.How do I buy savings bonds in TreasuryDirect?.

You can buy both series EE or series in savings bonds, and the purchase amount can be any amount from $ 25 to $ 10,000.More information about security types.

Make a payroll / direct deposit of your employer.
