Jeff Jubelirer, a public relations strategist who has worked in Philadelphia for 20 years, said the company's staying power is particularly impressive considering most grocery stores now sell their own generic brands of cream cheese.
“Is Philadelphia really better than store brand Wegmans or others?” Jubelirer asked. “But people are still willing to pay more for it, and there's a reason for that.”
Jubelirer said it's a better time than ever for any brand to join the city, pointing to its thriving restaurant scene and high-profile events like the Pope's visit in 2015, the 2016 Democratic National Convention and of course the Eagles Conference. 2018 Super Bowl victory.

“Philadelphia is kind of on the road,” he added. “No pun intended.”
