Any MacBook with a butterfly keyboard is part of the class action suit, including the MacBook (all), MacBook Air (2018-2019), MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016-2019) and MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016 -2019).

What if I am part of Group 1?

The settlement shows that Group 1 is the only group that will not have to claim compensation, because their payment will be automatic.

What if I am part of Group 2 or Group 3?

Both groups 2 and 3 must submit claim forms to receive compensation, which must be mailed or emailed within 120 days.

Attorneys provided class information to the settlement administrator on December 2, and notices were issued as of December 12. The final approval hearing is scheduled for February 10, 2023, and the deadline to file a claim is March 6, 2023.

How can I make a claim?

If you qualify for a refund check, you will receive an email or postcard with a 10-digit unique ID and a 7-digit PIN. You can enter them atrequirements page, the claim form is pre-filled with information from Apple's records. To complete the process, you must certify that all pre-filled information is true and correct.
