How to delete an administrator account on your computerMaccomputer
1.On your Mac's home screen, select the System Preferences icon from the bottom menu or search for it using Spotlight.
2.Once you launch System Preferences, look for Users & Groups.
3.Select the padlock icon in the bottom left corner.
4.Enter your login password to unlock the page.
5.Then select the admin user from the list on the left.
6.Select the minus sign under Sign-in options.
7.Select an option from the pop-up menu. To save the administrator's home directory to retrieve their informationrestored in the future, select 'Save the home folder to a disk image'. If you want the admin data to be permanently deleted, select 'Delete Home Folder'. After you select an option, click Delete user.
8.To finish, tap the padlock at the bottom left of the screen to ensure no further changes can be made.
