How to Remove Hard Water and Rust Stains with CLR Calcium, Lime & Rust Remover
- Put on cleaning gloves
- Turn off the water supply to the toilet
- Rinse the water from the bowl
- Pour 1 cup of CLR into the bowl
- Wait 2 minutes
- Scrub the bowl with a toilet brush or pumice stone for 2 minutes, or until the soil is loose
- Turn the water supply back on
- To rinse
Always read label instructions before use.
If there are rust stains above the waterline, you do not need to remove the water. Apply CLR Calcium, Lime & Rust Remover directly to the stains and scrub with the brush or pumice stone. Wait 2 minutes and then flush the toilet.
