Mt.Shasta was a holy place for Indians, and today it is considered rodchakra (energy source) in the world.Hidden Civilization (Lemuria), who lives in a lost city (Telos), buried far into the mountain. It is also claimed that Shasta is a fireplace for foreign activities.
Whether you believe in these legends, it is difficult not to be impressed by the large size of Mt.Shasta.Steep, high shape gives the perfect conditions to generate spaceship -like lenticular clouds.

Good news: you can mt.shasta all year round!
ISpring, you will see wild flowers in maximum flower.SommerIs the perfect moment to explore local swimming holes, lakes and waterfalls.ValPlace a spectacular view of the autumn leaves.WinterYou can try winter sports, visit Mount Shasta Ski Park and see ice creams hanging on the waterfalls.
That said, here are some logistics guidelines:
The summers in this area are warmth during the day during the day (sometimes unbearable) and at night you cool very low again in the winter.
Most Mount Shasta destinations that I have mentioned can be visited throughout the year, but spring through the fall gives the most practical visit.
If you want to visit in the winter, make sure you have suitable clothing and footwear.area in winter.
