Is there a minimum spend for a pre-order?

Yes. Minimum spend for pre-order is $1.00

Why should I pre-order?

Enjoy your meal faster by skipping the line at the front desk or quickly re-ordering your favorites. Also enjoy exclusive app rewards!

How can I pre-order?

Sign in, select a Hungry Jacks store, fill your cart, complete checkout and let us know when you've arrived at the counter or driven through.

Can I reorder my last order?

Is it more expensive to order in advance or place my order in store?

No. Pre-order prices are exactly the same as counter prices.

When will you charge for my order?

The app will charge you a fee at checkout for a pending/pre-authorization on your transaction. This will block your card based on the total amount of the order.

We will not process/record your payment until you tell us you have arrived at the store (by choosing Pickup at Counter or Drive Thru Pickup)

I was charged, but the store did not receive my order?

Unfortunately, problems may occur when you submit your order to the store. If for any reason it fails, your payment will be automatically canceled within 24 hours and you will see the 'pending' transaction disappear from your account.

If the charge is not processed within 2 business days, please contact our customer service hotline on 1300 852 326 for further assistance.

When do I tell you I'm here to get my food?

Let us know when you are on your way and near the store.

If you are on your way to drive through, please include your order number on the speaker box

This allows us to ensure that you receive fresh Hungry Jacks.

I just arrived, but I can't tell you.

Okay, just talk to one of the crew members - they will make sure you receive your order as quickly as possible.

Why can't I pre-order at my local Hungry Jack's?

Excuse me! We are installing a lot of new technology in our restaurants. If your local Hungry Jack's isn't accepting pre-orders yet, we promise it will soon!

Can I change my pre-order after it has been placed?

Unfortunately not. But if you missed something with your order, you can pre-order it again and pick up both orders together. Or you can ask one of our employees to add the order when you collect it.

Can I place my order now and pick it up later?

Naturally. We will not start preparing your meal until you tell us that you are near the restaurant.

What are 'location services' and why should I enable them?

This is just the software that tells us where you are so we can tell you where the nearest Hungry Jack's is and help you with pre-ordering and Shake & Win!

Does the app provide kilojoule information?

Yes. All our standard food items have a KJ rating. But we cannot provide a rating for your adaptation of these foods.

Are there minimum device and operating requirements to use the Hungry Jack's app?

Yes, for best performance, HJ's app can be downloaded on Apple devices running iOS 12.5.7 or later (iPhone 8 and later) and Android devices running Android 8.1 or later. The minimum system requirements for the app are iOS 12.5.7 (for Apple devices) and Android 8.1 or higher (for Android devices). For some older phones, the device hardware may not support all features even if the software version is higher than iOS 12.5.7 or Android 8.1.
