This Alfredo sauce is insanely delicious and easy to make. This is another delicious meal that you can have on the table within 30 minutes! It's good for your wallet and your schedule! You'll never go back to pre-made Alfredo sauce again! All my culinary students ask for this Alfredo sauce recipe because they have itThe olive gardenPasta Alfredo and she learns how to make it at home. We added sautéed fresh chopped zucchini to our Pasta Alfredo pictured above and we loved it!

Many people think Alfredo sauce will be difficult to make, but it is actually so easy and cheap to make. This is comfort food at its best! This recipe makes 2 generous servings and includes 250 grams of cooked pasta. Be sure to double the recipe if you want to cook the entire 16 oz. box of pasta.

No Alfredo sauce

Creamy...buttery...easy Alfredo sauce!

ingredients

  • 1 pint tungcrème
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons of cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 c freshly grated Parmesan cheese (I like to use a cube of Parmigiano-Reggiano and grate it myself)
  • 1 clove of freshly chopped garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the heavy cream, butter and cream cheese in a saucepan, simmer until melted and stir well.
  2. Add grated Parmesan cheese and minced garlic. Simmer over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is thick.
  3. Stir the sauce into hot cooked spaghetti, fettuccine, linguine or pasta of your choice.

To note

This recipe calls for 8 oz of cooked pasta (1/2 box), so double it for a 16 oz box of pasta.
You can also add cooked chicken or sauteed vegetables!
