We all have to convert

  • What is a shame? What effects do our sins do on us?

Faith in Jesus Christ naturally leads to repentance.Or they can inherit the Kingdom of God in the threat, for there can be no unclean thing to live or live in his presence ”(Moses 6:57).

We come to earth to grow and continue. This is a lifelong process. In the course of this period we all sin (seeRomans 3:23).We all have to repent.Sometimes we sin sin because of ignorance, sometimes because of our weaknesses, and sometimes because of deliberate disobedience. In the Bible we read that "there is no honest man on the floor who is doing well and not sins" (Preaching 7:20) And that "if we say we don't have a sin, we cheat ourselves and the truth is not in us" (1John 1: 8).

What is a shame?James said: "To him who knows how to do well, and not, for him it is a shame" (James 4:17) .John described sin as "all the injustice" (1John 5:17) and "the violation of the law" (1John 3: 4).

That is why the Lord said, "All people, everywhere, will repent" (Moses 6:57)..

Get free from our sins by repentance

  • What is repentance?

Conversion is the way we have given ourselves to be free from our sins and forgiveness for them.Synde slows down our spiritual progression and can even stop.Conversion enables us to grow and develop spiritually again.

The privilege of repentance is made possible by the reconciliation of Jesus Christ. In a way that we do not fully understand, Jesus paid for our sins.President Joseph Fielding Smith said about this:

"I have a little pain, you have a little pain, and sometimes it has been pretty serious; but I can't understand the pain ... It would make the blood that sweat comes to the body. It was something terrible,Something fantastic.

"… He whatNot a single man ever born in this world who could have been under the weight of the tension that was on the Son of God when he wore my sins and yoursand enables us to escape from our sins ”(Doctrines over redding,Sel.

Conversion sometimes requires great courage, a lot of strength, many tears, continuous prayers and tireless efforts to live the orders of the Lord.

Principles

  • What are the principles of repentance?

President Spencer W.Kimball stated: “There is thatNo royal path to repentance,No privileged path to forgiveness.Waiting man must follow the same course, whether he rich or poor, trained or untrained, high or short, prince or pauper, king or ordinary ”(Learn from presidents from the church: Spencer W. Kimball[2006], 38;italics in the original).

We must recognize our sins

To repent, we must admit that we have sinned. If we do not admit this, we cannot repent.

Alma advised his son Corianton, who had been unfaithful to his mission call and had committed serious sins: “Let your sins worry, with the problems that will repent to you ... Try not to apologize in the minimum point(”Alma 42: 29–30).Writing advises us not to justify our sinful practice (seeLuke 16: 15–16).

We cannot hide action in our lives for ourselves or from the Lord.

We must feel sorrow for our sins

In addition to recognizing our sins, we must sincerely feel sorrow for what we have done.We must feel that our sins are terrible. We must want to unload and give up.God, and wants to be baptized and come up with broken hearts and contradictory spirits, and ... have really been given themselves to all their sins ... must be received by baptism in his church ”().

  • Inspection2 Korinthes 7: 9–10InMormon 2: 10–14.In what ways do you think that "God -atmosphere" is different from expressions of regret?

We have to leave our sins

Our sincere sorrow should lead to we leaving (stop) our sins. When we have stolen something, we no longer steal. When we have lied, we will no longer lie. When we have committed adultery, we stop. The Lord has revealed to the prophet to the prophet Joseph Smith, "Because of this you perhaps know if a man of his sins reverses - she will confess and leave them" ().

We have to confess our sins

Confirming our sins is very important. The Lord ordered us to confess our sins.Development relieves a heavy burden of the perpetrator. The Lord has promised: "I, the Lord, forgive sins and are merciful to those who confess their sins with humble hearts" ().

We must confess all our sins to the Lord. Moreover, we must confess to serious sins - such as adultery, adultery, gay connections, spouse or abuse of children and the sale or use of illegal drugs - that our status in the church, to the right priesthood authority. If we have sinned against another person, we must confess to the person we have injured. Some less serious sins concern none other than ourselves and the Lord.Desis can be granted privately to the Lord.

We have to pay back

Part of repentance is to make a refund. This means that we have to do it as well as we have done. For example, a thief must return what he has stolen.A liar must announce the truth.Gossip, Baked has to work the nature of a person to restore the good name of the person he has wounded. If we do these things, God will not call our sins to us when we are convicted (seeEzekiel 33: 15–16).

We have to forgive others

An important part of conversion is to forgive those who have sinned against us.The Lord will not forgive us unless our hearts are completely cleaned by all hatred, bitterness and bad feelings towards other people (seeViolence 13: 14-15").

We will keep the commandments of God

To complete our repentance, we must keep the bid of the Lord (see). We are not completely reversed if we do not pay tenths or keep the Sabbath day holy or obey the word of wisdom. We are not vice versa if we do not maintain the authorities of the church and do not love the Lord and our fellow people. If we don't pray and are unfriendly for others, we are absolutely not vice versa. When we repent, our lives change.

President Kimball said: "First, after this reason, he must then live the orders of the Lord to keep his viewpoint. This is necessary to guarantee complete forgiveness" (Learn from presidents from the church: Spencer W. Kimball,43).

  • How does the doctrine differ in this section of the false idea that repentance is the implementation of a list of simple steps or routine actions?

How repentance helps us

  • In what ways will repentance us?

As we convert, the reconciliation of Jesus Christ becomes completely effective in our lives, and the Lord goes to our sins.We become free of slavery with our sins and we find joy.

Alma told her experience of repentance from his sinful past:

“My soul was shaken in the greatest degree [worried] and hit with all my sins.

“Yes, I remembered all my sins and mat that I was plagued by the pain of hell;Yes, I saw that I had scammed my God and that I had not held his holy commandments.

"... so great had been my inexperience that the idea of getting my god in the presence of my god kept my soul with inexplicable horror.

"... It happened that when I ... The memory of my many sins had been shaken, I also remembered that I had heard my Father ... About the coming of a Jesus Christ, a Son of God, toto take care of the sins of the world.

"Now, while my spirit was holding, I held this thought, I cried in my heart: O Jesus, you the Son of God, have grace about me ...

“And now, look, when I thought so, I couldn't remember my pain.

"And oh, some joy, and what beautiful light I saw; yes, my soul was filled with joy that surpassed like my pain!

"... there can be nothing as excellent and sweet as my joy" (Alma 36: 12–14, 17–21).

  • How did the repentance and forgiveness bring joy?

The dangers of postponing our repentance

  • What are some possible consequences of postponing our conversion?

The prophets have stated that "this life is time for people to prepare to meet God" (Alma 34:32).We have to repent now, every day. When we get up in the morning, we must keep an eye on ourselves to see if the Spirit of God is with us.During the night before we go to hibernation, we have to go through our actions and words during the day and ask the Lord to help us recognize the things we need to repent.By converting every day and allowing the Lord to forgive our sins, we will experience the daily process to become perfect. With Alma our happiness and joy can be sweet and excellent.
