Chapter 12 - Water Temperature
Drinking water temperatures should be between 10°C and 15°C for most comfortable consumption by adult birds, but some studies have shown that water temperatures around 25°C reduce mortality. in chickens and poultry. Temperatures above 30°C will reduce consumption and birds will refuse to drink if water temperatures exceed 44°C.
