In Excel you can change the macro security settings to check which macros are active and under what circ*mstances when you open a workbook.For example, you can perform macros based on whether they are digitally signed by a trusted developer.

The following list summarizes the different macro security institutions.

Switch off all macros without a reviewClick on this setting if you do not trust macros.Macros in documents and security warnings about macros are disabled.Reliable location.
Switch off all macros with assessmentThis is the standard setting.Click on this setting if you want macros to be switched off, but you want to get security warnings if macros are present.

Office uses Microsoft Authenticode technology to enable Makrestrader to sign a file or macro project digitally.

Change Macro security settings

You can change the Macro security settings in the Trust Center, unless a system administrator has changed the standard settings in your organization to prevent you from changing the settings.

I cannot change my macro security settings

Some users may not be able to change the institutions for the trust center due to the security policy in their organizations.

Very high	Switch off all macros without a review	In Excel 2003, VBA-Macros can only be performed if the trust is all installed add-in and templates (in Excel 2003, the Trusted Publishers are the tab in the security dialog) and the macros (signed or not signed) are stored in a single specific trustedfolder on the user's hard drive. If all these conditions are not met, VBA -Macros cannot be performed under the institution, very high security in Excel 2003.
High	Switch off all macros, except digitally signed macros	In Excel 2003, executable files (such as .exe or .com) must be signed by a recognized trusted source (that is, they have to have a reliability certificate) to turn.Without warning the user when these documents are opened. All Office 2003 programs are installed with macro security set to high as standard.
Medium	Switch off all macros with assessment	In Excel 2003, users are asked to switch on or disable executable files when a document is opened. Subsequent requests to perform a macro from a trusted source are automatically accepted (the executable file runs without praying the user).
