We just finished a fantastic weekIcon of the sea, sailing from February 17 to February 24, 2024. We were a family of 5 who stayed in a family -endless balcony in the sea, and there were certainly a few things we learned along the way.
Because lists are always fun, I thought I would share some of them.Guests, with 1200 of them as children.

For example, we never ate at El Loco Fresh or visited the sports field, while during our last cruise it was two places that we spent a lot of time on.
A week goes very fast and if there is something that you really look out to check, give priority and add it to your "agenda" in the app.
Because our family was a priority category 6 water glass, so we went there just after boarding, after packing a bathing suit in our carrying case.Cruise, especially on sea days.
Moreover, it was a priority to view the new shows and to explore some of the new locations, such as dueling piano.
Consider skipping a port to stay on the ship
On a related comment it can be a good idea to take advantage of a less busy ship when you are in the port to get more of your priority list.
We found out that the swimming pool tires and other locations on sea days were very busy and there were long -term lines of water glass.Perfect day at Coco Cay, and it turned out to be a good phone call!
We have checked out more swimming pools and bubble baths, drove on the water and attend a Trivia session with only 3 groups.Explore this ship with low crowds and made for a really relaxing day.

You don't have to pack so many multi-ports adapters
One thing that the rooms have on the icon is companies, especially USB ports.
Our room also had various USB-A stores near the bunk bed.USB-A connector on the desk only to keep things more organized with telephones and battery packages, etc., but we could certainly have done it without anything.

This is very different from other ships where we feel that we had different multi-poorts adapters at all times.On a laptop.
In the overview area, especially in the pods, we saw people use things to keep and run telephones and laptops.
You will pack magnetic hooks to hang things in the room
Something negative that we have found about the rooms (and also heard of others) isLack of storageCompared to other ships such as the Oasis class.For our 5 5 family we struggled to fit everything on the hanging racks and we walked out of the shelf.
Moreover, there is no clothing line in the bathroom to hang on swimsuit or other wet items, just a few buttons to hang a few things.We to hang things like hats and almost non-hero dry bathing suits.

Bring earplugs if you sleep easily
In general, we loved the space in the infinite Ocean view balcony room family, especially with the bunk bed bed, which helped to separate the children's area from most of the room.
We also enjoyed how the endless veranda made the room bigger and trusted that it was comfortable., and I will refer to the room more like an "Oceanview plus" versus a real balcony room.
That said, I thought I would call another something negative that we found, namely that the walls seem to be quite thin, because we could certainly hear our neighbors on both sides.adults.
If you are someone who needs things that are really quiet to sleep or just want to calm down if you relax in the room, you may want to consider earplugs, headphones or something that can block sound
If you discuss that, buy the drinking package
I knowDrinking package, especially for this ship, is expensive, but if you are someone to get it, go for it.Perhaps not so open for ordering (for fear of not doing it as it) if we are per.krankje.
Also consider making a barcrawl because it motivates you to view the different bars and drinks.
For example, the Basecamp Bar has many tropical drinks, the theme of category 6 Water Park.Rising tides.
Some drinks that I wish I could have now, include Coffeeboulevardies from Rye and Bean (Espresso Martinis here is also excellent) and Tradewinds from Basecamp Bar.

When we talk about things that are not cheap, we have experiencedEmpire Supper Club, and it didn't disappoint.
The food was great and creative.They also had a number of really interesting co*cktails, with some combinations that I had never thought of, but the work.
I probably also had the best service I have ever had on a cruise ship.This on land when tingling in co*cktails and entertainment would probably cost 2-3x what they charge.
In general it felt very amazingly gatsby -like and we went outside and tried to dress and tried to match the room and glamor and the event.Forget to look up!
A formal invitation with a wax stamp is left in your living room earlier in the evening, and as soon as you arrive your server, you will greet yourself by name.

Pearl Café is a game developer
Two of the best changes they made for this ship were the opening of the Promenade and the addition of Pearl Café.
The setting is beautiful with the large windows, views of the pearl and the artwork above your head.
A food they had there, as my son enjoyed and received quite often, was tomato and mozzarella salad.
I would say that the line of coffee where you can get lattes, and the like made with Starbucks Coffee, can be quite long;The crew that works hard, only many people want their coffee!
The line for coffee was definitely the longest in the morning.
There are two separate lines, one for special coffee and one for dinner, so if you just wanted food, you had a much shorter waiting time, but if you wanted to eat both coffee and eating, you had to wait in two lines.

Royal Caribbean Entertainment is generally amazing and what is on this ship is no exception.to sit.
For the OZ guide, it is best to be in the lower paragraph, as close to the middle as you can, but if the only thing available is on the side that is also good to be closer to the stage, isGreat, and more effects will literally go over your head and it really contributes to the experience.

Dualing piano is an absolute must-do.Come there early!
One of the nicest experiences I have had everywhere, so much less on a cruise ship on dueling piano on the icon of the sea.
When you sing with hundreds of strangers/new friends and laugh with the idea of the performance, you just can't smile during the show.some time.
